My Rewards ๐ŸŽ

Welcome to the rewards center! This is where all your hard work pays off. Every activity you complete earns you points, and you can use those points to get awesome rewards that your parents have set up just for you!

What Are Rewards? ๐Ÿค”โ€‹

Rewards are special treats, privileges, or fun things you can get by spending the points you earn from completing activities. Think of points like coins in a video game - the more activities you do, the more "coins" you collect to buy cool stuff!

How Points Work ๐Ÿ’ฐโ€‹

Earning Pointsโ€‹

You get points by:

  • โœ… Completing activities - Every finished task gives you points
  • ๐ŸŒŸ Doing great work - Extra points for excellent effort
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ Keeping streaks - Bonus points for doing activities many days in a row
  • ๐Ÿ† Achieving milestones - Special points for big accomplishments
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Trying new things - Extra points for being brave and learning

Point Valuesโ€‹

Different activities give different amounts of points:

  • ๐ŸŸข Easy activities - 10-25 points (like brushing teeth)
  • ๐ŸŸก Medium activities - 25-50 points (like homework or chores)
  • ๐ŸŸ  Hard activities - 50-100 points (like learning new skills)
  • ๐Ÿ”ด Super challenges - 100+ points (like big projects or helping others)

ADHD Tip: Don't worry about saving up huge amounts of points. There are small rewards you can get quickly to celebrate your daily wins!

Look through all the available rewards and pick something you want.

Step 3: Make Your Choiceโ€‹

Tap on the reward you want to "buy" with your points.

Step 4: Confirm Your Purchaseโ€‹

Make sure you really want this reward - once you buy it, your points will be spent!

Step 5: Enjoy Your Reward!โ€‹

Your parent will help you get your reward or set up your special experience.

Smart Reward Strategies ๐Ÿง โ€‹

Save vs. Spendโ€‹

Spending quickly:

  • โœ… Gets you rewards right away
  • โœ… Feels good immediately
  • โœ… Keeps you motivated daily
  • โŒ Means you can't get bigger rewards

Saving up:

  • โœ… Lets you get really cool big rewards
  • โœ… Teaches patience and planning
  • โœ… Makes the reward feel extra special
  • โŒ Takes longer to get anything

Best strategy: Mix both! Get some small rewards to celebrate daily wins, but also save up for something special.

Planning Your Rewardsโ€‹

  1. Pick a big goal - Choose one expensive reward you really want
  2. Calculate the cost - Figure out how many points you need
  3. Plan your path - Decide which activities will help you get there
  4. Celebrate milestones - Get small rewards along the way
  5. Stay motivated - Remember why you want that big reward

ADHD Tip: Write down or draw a picture of the big reward you're saving for. Put it somewhere you can see it to help you remember your goal!

Streaks and Bonuses ๐Ÿ”ฅโ€‹

What Are Streaks?โ€‹

A streak is when you complete activities several days in a row without missing a day. Streaks give you bonus points!

Streak Bonusesโ€‹

  • 3 days in a row = 20% more points (1.2x multiplier)
  • 7 days in a row = 50% more points (1.5x multiplier)
  • 14 days in a row = Double points! (2x multiplier)
  • 30 days in a row = Triple points! (3x multiplier)

Keeping Your Streakโ€‹

  • Do at least one activity every day - Even small ones count!
  • Set reminders - Ask your parent to help you remember
  • Plan ahead - Know what you'll do tomorrow
  • Don't give up - If you miss a day, start a new streak right away

Streak Insurance ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธโ€‹

Some families have "streak insurance" - if you miss one day, you don't lose your whole streak. Ask your parent if this is available!
